Are you tired of beauty product hype? Frustrated by the ridiculous promises that some skincare brands make about their products? Annoyed by beauty ads that show poreless faces that have been obviously retouched? Tired of seeing before and after photographs that require a leap of faith? Depressed that beauty companies seem to think you´re stupid enough to believe any one product could be the fountain of youth?

 

We hear you! We´re frustrated by the same hype. In fact, (dare we say it?) it seems like a lot of BS. So Cosmedicine created the Protest Beauty BS Video Contest to encourage people to talk back by spoofing some of the over-hyped and misleading claims in the beauty industry.

 

We believe women are smart and want products that deliver on real claims. That´s why when we talk about our products, we talk about achieving the healthiest skin of your life (not turning into a supermodel). That´s why all the results that we claim are based scientifically measured results in clinical trials (not what women thought they saw in a mirror after two weeks).
